You probably don’t want to have all your Apple TV apps running at once on your set-top box. And you can quickly switch between different apps on Apple TV without having to return to the Home Screen.
App-switching view on Apple TV works very much like the multitasking feature on iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. If an app isn’t working right, you can force it to quit and then open it again from the Home Screen.
To with between apps or to force-quit an app:
Step 1: On the Siri Remote, press the TV button twice quickly. Windows representing each of the open apps appear in a row on the screen.
Step. 2: In app-switching view, navigate to a different app in the center of the screen, then do either of the following:
Step 3: To leave app-switching view without changing apps, press the Back button (Siri Remote 2nd generation or later) or the Menu button (Siri Remote 1st generation).
