How to close an app in iPhone X

Some folks close apps on their iPhones to free up memory and stop background refreshing. Others close ‘em when apps get unresponsive. If you need to force quit apps on the iPhone X, here’s how:

  • Swipe up from the bottom of the smartphone screen, then pause with you finger in the middle of the screen for a second until the apps appear.
  • Touch and hold the app, then swipe up to close it.
