Green Screen Pro for macOS makes it easy to add motion effects to iMovie, Final Cut Pro X

Mosa Motion Graphics’ Green Screen Pro for macOS is a helper app that brings 3D and 2D motion effects to iMovie and Final Cut Pro X users. It has a library of 100-plus green screen CGI clips. They include motion graphics action animations and FX idioms of pop culture touchstones. All are rendered as green screen clips, ready for use in a video project.

Users simply drag a Green Screen pro clip into an iMove or FCPX project, and then remove the green background with the default green screen tool, leaving only the motion graphics animation. A user’s own video content takes the place of the green areas of the motion animation.

Green Screen Pro has a huge assortment of 3D action animations that can be used as transition effects. These short clips are most effective positioned at edit points, adding an exciting computer generated animation on a shot change.

Your own video content will replace the green areas of the motion animation. The thumb swipe pulls down into a video transition. If you’re iMovie user and have never used green screen before, this app makes it easy.

Green Screen Pro costs $12.99 and requires macOS 10.9 or later. It’s available via the Mac App Store. All clips are royalty free, though the license prohibits resale.
