Gamevice gaming accessory for iPhones, iPads upgraded with new buttons, thumb sticks, more

Gamevice — which makes the only Apple approved, Lightning-connected game controller for latency free gameplay – has released its next generation controller. The second generation of Gamevice controller has been upgraded with new buttons and thumb sticks.

It’s compatible with the iPhone 7/7 Plus, iPad mini, iPad Air , 9.7-inch iPad Pro and 12.9-inc iPad Pro. As well as adding a headphone jack to iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, it also features a Lightning port for charging the phone while in use at home or on the go. The new Gamevice for iPhone controller will be available on Jan. 31 for $99.95. Gamevice for iPad Mini will be also available on the 31; Gamevices for iPad Air and Pro are available today.

The iPhone now powers Gamevice, meaning that it doesn’t need its own battery. What’s more, it draws no more power than headphones do. Thanks to the Lightning port, you can charge your iPhone and your Gamevice at the same time.

The thumb sticks on the new device have been upgraded to be more ergonomic and comfortable, giving improved control. And Gamevice for iPhone now supports every iPhone since iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.

With the Gamevice Live App, you can download iOS games that are fully compatible with your Gamevice. Gamevice Live is available in over 114 countries, and provides players with a searchable, curated library of more than 900 Gamevice-supported iOS games that are available on the Apple App Store.
