Final Cut Pro 10.4.5 packs performance, stability improvements

Apple has updated Final Cut Pro X, its professional video editing app, to version 10.4.5. According to the release notes, it:

  • Improves performance when generating waveforms for clips with no audio channels;

  • Improves stability when sending a project to Compressor using the keyboard shortcut Shift-Command-E; 

  • Improves stability when pasting Arabic or Hebrew text into a title; 

  • Improves stability when switching tabs in the Timeline Index.

Final Cut Pro 10.4.5 is available as a free update today for existing users, and for $299.99 for new users on the Mac App Store. It requires macOS 10.13.2 or later.
