ESR releases HaloLock Kickstand Wireless Charger

ESR has released the US$35.99 HaloLock Kickstand Wireless Charger ($35.99 that supports Apple’s MagSafe charging feature.

Apple says that MagSafe “improves wireless charging for a better, more efficient experience and introduces an ecosystem of easy-to-attach accessories that beautifully complement iPhone 12 Pro models.” It features an array of magnets around the wireless charging coil that connect to the iPhone  and provide up to 15W of power while still accommodating existing Qi-enabled devices.

In addition to its charging features, the HaloLock Kickstand Wireless Charger has an adjustable kickstand built into the back charging pad. It supports any viewing angle from 30° to 60° and folds away when not in use.

This allows users to stay charged while they game, text, or watch videos. ESR CEO Tim Wu says that, uUnlike the original Apple MagSafe charger, the USB-C cable is fully removable, enabling users to pair the charger with a cable of their own preference or ditch the cable completely for a light and portable phone stand.
