Eddy Cue: Home Sharing for music will return in iOS 9

It’s back (almost)!

When Apple released iOS 8.4, many users noticed that Home Sharing for music was not supported. Home Sharing lets customers stream video and typically music between devices on the same WiFi network. Video streaming still works with iOS 8.4, but not music. That’s about to change, according to Eddy Cue.

In a Twitter exchange published on July 6, Cue confirmed that “We are working to have Home Sharing in iOS 9.”

Good on you, Apple! Many people will glad to have that feature restored.
