Dr. Mario World coming to iOS devices on July 10

According to Nintendo’s Twitter account, Dr. Mario World will launch on iOS devices on July 10. Pre-registration is now open at the Apple App Store.

The game is free, but does tout in-app purchases. In Dr. Mario World, players must match capsules with viruses and watch them disappear. Match three objects of the same color vertically or horizontally to clear them.

However, each puzzling stage’s configuration of viruses must be cleared using a limited number of capsules. Dr. Mario World features Mario and a host of other popular Nintendo characters.
