D3O announces new collection of D3O-protected cases for the iPhone 14

D3O is showcasing what it says is its latest innovation in consumer electronics protection for the new iPhone 14 with a new collection of D3O-protected phone cases and screen protectors.

CEO Stuart Sawyer says the company engineers smart materials that are found in protective gear worn by pro athletes, soldiers, first responders, motorcyclists, and Hollywood stuntmen and women. From their Innovation Lab in London, the D3O team of engineers, designers and chemists customize specific formulations to make soft, flexible materials with high shock absorbing properties that have set the industry standard in impact protection, he adds. Their iPhone 14 cases include (with the company’s descriptions):

  • D3O Bio – the world’s leading plant-based impact protection material, featured in Gear4 Copenhagen, Brooklyn and Havana cases.
  • D3O with 5G Signal Plus Technology – the world’s best 5G-optimized impact protection.
  • D3O Crystalex – the clearest, thinnest, and most advanced impact protection ever, featured in Gear4 Crystal Palace and Milan cases.

What’s more, through its partnership with ZAGG, the new collection of D3O-protected phone cases for the iPhone 14 offer up to 16 feet of accidental drop protection. The MagSafe and non-MagSafe cases include: Gear4 Brooklyn Snap, Gear4 Copenhagen, Gear4 Crystal Palace, Gear4 Rio, Gear4 Havana, Gear4 Santa Cruz Snap, Gear4 Denali Snap and Gear4 Milan.
