Considering all of the flack Microsoft got for their Recall feature, I wonder how Apple will handle it when and if someone connects the dots with Apple Intelligence and Time Machine backups?

For the record, since Time Machine is local and Apple Intelligence is mostly local except in specific cases, tech guru J. Scott Anderson doesn’t see the same issues. Along the same lines (at least regarding Time Machine), wouldn’t it be great if Siri could access that and know about our file/record history.
Instead of pulling up Time Machine, you’d just ask Siri to, for example, “Find that document I create a month ago about the Rain Forest. It had something to do with fishing in the headwaters of the Amazon.” Then Apple’s personal digital assistant could run through all of the Time Machine documents and pull what you need.
I hope that you’ll consider becoming a patron of Apple World Today. Prices range from $2 a month to $10 a month. You can sign up here. Thanks in advance for your support.
