Confiant hires ex-Apple exec, Steve Rubinstein, for COO role

Confiant — which makes a creative verification, ad blocking and malvertising detection solution — has hired ex-Apple exec, Steve (Jon) Rubinstein, to lead operations of the start-up.

Formerly head of Business Operations for PCH,  Rubinstein brings more than 25 years of experience in operations, development and engineering. New Jersey native, and California resident Rubinstein has worked in Silicon Valley at large global tech companies like Apple and more recently 14 years as COO of the small but high-growth publisher, Topix.

Rubenstein worked at Apple from 2001 to 2010. He played an important role in the development of the iMac and iPod.
