CleanMyMac launching on the Mac App Store today

CleanMyMac from MacPaw is an all-in-one macOS solution designed to keep your Mac clean and to secure space from your computer’s hard drive. It’s now launching on the Mac App Store 12 years after its original release.

Despite being distributed independently from the Mac App Store because of the platform’s business and technical constraints, CleanMyMac has tallied 20 million-plus downloads and at least one user in Antarctica. MacPaw says its success allowed the company to become one of the largest independent macOS software development companies with 10-plus apps in its portfolio and a team of “240 humans and two cats.”

You can read my review of CleanMyMac 4.4.0 here.
