But, Apple, I don’t want to sync ALL my photos with my iCloud Photo Library

I’m a big fan of Photos, Apple’s replacement for iPhoto and Aperture. However, there’s one feature it lacks that I really want: the ability for the app NOT to sync certain photos and/or folders to iCloud.

iCloud Photo Library was introduced with iOS 8, but with the launch of the Photos for Mac OS X, it’s now available on the Mac. It lets you sync all of your images across all your devices and to iCloud.

However, it’s the “all” part I don’t like. I want the ability to only sync select photos to my iCloud Photo Library. Hopefully, Apple has something like this in the works for the future.
