Twelve South is known for creating great products to enhance the Apple experience and that’s not changed with its new cases for the 2019 iPhones.
The $69.95 BookBook vol. 2 for iPhone — available for the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max — is a wallet case, hands-free stand and removable shell all wrapped up in a vintage leather book. It has pockets to hold your ID, cards and cash.
The BookBook can fold into a display stand for hands-free usage, and a removable shell protects the next get smartphone in or out of the case.
The BookBook for the new iPhones sports a new magnetic closure for better phone and wallet protection, a magnetic leather shell to separate the wallet and phone. It also offers a safe space to store the easily tarnished Apple Card.
The magnetic leather iPhone shell can be removed. And the case — available in black or brown — holds (a few) bank cards or (cash) bills.
The inside of the BookBook is covered in a soft felt to ensure the smartphone has a cozy ride wherever you take it. A camera cutout lets you snap photos and take videos. The Twelve South case has a slim, lightweight design. There’s a a slight bulk to it, but all the features are well worth the tradeoff.
