Chargers aren’t the most glamorous devices, but without them, our devices wouldn’t work. Accessory manufacturer Belkin announced two new Boost Charge Pro Dual USB-C GaN Wall Chargers. Featuring PPS technology, Belkin says the chargers deliver “optimum power” to compatible devices.
When a single USB-C port is in use, the 65W charger can provide up to 65W to a device. With both ports in use, one port can deliver 45W with the other operating at 20W. This is perfect for small MacBooks like the MacBookAir, which it can charge while simultaneously charging a second device like an iPad or iPhone.
The 45W unit delivers a full 45W from one port, or 45W (top) + 20W (bottom) when both ports are in use. Using USB-C Power Delivery 3.0 technology, iPhone 13 models are fast charged from either of the new devices. How fast? An iPhone 13 goes from empty to 50 percent charged in just 28 minutes.
The chargers are available for pre-ordering on the Belkin website today and ship in September. The 45W Boost Charge Pro costs just $40, with the 65W Boost Charge Pro priced at $50.
