In May Apple announced the opening of a new office in Hyderabad that would focus on development of Maps for iOS, macOS and watchOS devices. This investment will accelerate Maps development and create up to 4,000 jobs, according to CEO Tim Cook. The new facility, located on the Waverock campus, will provide a world-class, LEED-certified home for the expanding Maps team, he added.
GNITS — located in Hyderabad — was founded by the late Sri Pulla Reddy Garu in 1997, with the objective of providing excellent learning facility for women to pursue education in engineering. GNITS is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), accredited by NBA (AICTE).
