AWT News Update: August 29, 2016

Apple announces the September 7 event for the “iPhone 7”, so today’s show speculates on what we’re likely to hear about:

  • The new iPhone might include a wireless charging technology, based on interest in Energous just after today’s Apple announcement
  • The Apple Watch 2 is expected to have 35% more battery capacity, but don’t expect longer battery life
  • It’s unlikely that any new Macs will be announced at the event
  • Siri starts giving snarky responses when you ask about September 7
