Audio Hijack 4.2 for Mac adds three new audio adjustment blocks

Rogue Amoeba has released Audio Hijack 4.2, a free update to the company’s flagship audio recorder for macOS. According to the folks at Rogue Amoeba, the update adds three new blocks to adjust and improve audio flowing through the app:

° Speech Denoise: Automatically identify and suppress background noise, accentuating speech, with this new Machine Learning-powered audio processor.

° Parametric EQ: Powerful and precise audio adjustments across multiple bands are now available, with fully customizable filter types, frequency, Q, and gain.

° FIR Filter: Recreate the feel of a grand concert hall or a cozy studio room, right from your Mac.

For new users, Audio Hijack costs US$64. A demo is available for download.
