According to DigiTimes, thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, Apple’s iPad shipments are likely to experience a 20%-plus year-over-year growth in 2020. COVID-19 also seems to have spurred Mac sales worldwide.
Per DigiTimes: “Supply chain makers have begun ramping up related shipments since September with the momentum likely to peak in November, said the sources, adding that combined monthly shipments of the new 10.9-inch iPad Air and 10.2-inch iPad devices during the September-November period will reach over six million units.”
A new iPad Air is due this month. Chances are good a shipping date will be announced at today’s “Hi, Speed” event.
