Apple plans to announce the rumored 15-inch MacBook Air at June’s Apple Worldwide Developer Conference, according to Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman. A larger sized Air has been rumored for some time.

The rumored 15-inch MacBook Air will sport an M2 chip, not the M3 processor that Apple originally planned, leaker “yeux1122” claims on the Korean Naver blog.

Why? A combination of factors, including production issues at TSMC, market conditions, and inventory adjustments.

Apple will host its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in an online format from June 5-9 with an opportunity for developers and students to celebrate in person at a special experience at Apple Park on opening day.
