Apple has updated its Mac versions of GarageBand, MainStage, and Logic Pro. All the updates are available at the Mac App Store.
Version 10.4.7 of the free GarageBand music app for consumers/prosumers adds over 480 Apple Loops and 18 Drum Kits for hip hop and electronic music production with new Sound Packs “Beat Tape” and “Modular Rhythms.” It also includes stability improvements and bug fixes.
Logic Pro X, Apple’s US$199.99 pro-level music creation hardware, has been revved to version 10.7.5. According to the release notes, in the new version:
MainStage is a live stage-oriented companion app to Logic Pro. With the new version (3.6.2). The 35 stompboxes in Pedalboard are each available as individual plug-ins. MainStage 3.6.2 also has stability improvements and bug fixes.
