With the debut of titles like “Nomadland,” “I Care A Lot”, and “Flora & Ulysses” to SVoD [Share On-Demand Video] on Friday, Feb. 19, the team at Reelgood, a U.S. movie and TV streaming search engine, tallied which movies its two million U.S. users flocked to over this past weekend.
The data shows Hulu took top billing with critically-acclaimed drama “Nomadland,” ahead of Netflix’s “I Care A Lot” by about two engagement share points. This is the first time a movie from Hulu ranked first on Reelgood’s Weekend Streaming Report.
Meanwhile, “The Little Things” on HBO Max climbed to third as users watched (and re-watched) the film starring Denzel Washington before it leaves on Feb 28.
Reelgood notes that it’s “also impressive” how Justin Timberlake’s “Palmer” remains firmly in the top 10 after almost a month since it premiered on Apple TV+.
