Apple has “quietly” taken over ownership of iCloud.net, TechCrunch reports. Previously, the Internet domain belonged to a small-time Asian social network site; however, it’s telling its users that it will be shutting down by the end of this month.
The icloud.net domain was one of the last major iCloud-based web addresses that wasn’t owned by the company. However, there’s at least one more — iCloud.co.uk, owned by Dennis Publishing, notes TechCrunch.
