Apple has reduced the shipping times for most iPhone 6s models in China to as little as one day. That compares to one to two weeks for previous generations of iPhones, reports My Drivers, a Chinese website that covers IT industry news and product launches.
Rose gold iPhone 6s devices are delivered in three to five working days. Silver 64GB models ship in one to three days, while other 6S models are delivered in one day.
The supply of iPhone 6s Plus models is still tight. Waiting time is three to four weeks for rose gold devices and two to three weeks for other colors, reports My Drivers (as noted by BrightWire.com, a global investment newswire).
China was promoted to one of the first-wave launch markets for the new iPhones this year. Apple cut shipping time in the country after the products went on sale in September. Waiting time for the iPhone 6s fell to one to two weeks from two to three weeks for its predecessors. Some 5.5 million iPhone 6s and 1.63 million iPhone 6s Plus phones were activated in China by Oct. 11, according to Chinese data service company, TalkingData.
