Apple releases iOS 17.4.1, iPadOS 17.4.1, and visionOS 1.1.1

Apple has released iOS 17.4.1, iPadOS 17.4.1, and visionOS 1.1.1 for, respectively, the iPhone, iPad, and Vision Pro.

All three updates have, per Apple’s release notes, important bug fixes and security updates. The iOS 17.4.1 and iPadOS 17.4.1 updates can be downloaded on eligible iPhones and iPads over-the-air by going to Settings > General > Software Update.

VisionOS 1.1.1 can be installed by going to the Settings app on the Apple Vision Pro, selecting the General section, and choosing Software Update. You’ll have to remove the spatial computer to install new software, with a progress bar available on the front EyeSight display.

Apple has also issued iOS 16.7.7 and iPadOS 16.7.7 for older models that don’t support the 17.x updates — or whose users don’t want to upgrade the latest version.
