Apple releases iOS 16.0.3, watchOS 9.0.2 with bug fixes, security updates

Apple has released iOS 16.03 and watchOS 9.0.2 which provide “bug fixes and important security updates.” 

Improvements in iOS 16.0.3, per Apple’s release notes, are:

° Incoming call and app notifications may be delayed or not delivered on iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max
° Low microphone volume can occur during CarPlay phone calls on iPhone 14 models
° Camera may be slow to launch or switch between modes on iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max
° Mail crashes on launch after receiving a malformed email.

iOS 16.0.3 can be downloaded on eligible iPhones over-the-air by going to Settings > General > Software Update.

Improvements in iOS 16.0.3, per Apple’s release notes, are “bug fixes and performance improvements.” Apple Watch owners can download the update by opening up the Apple Watch app on their iPhone and going to General > Software Update. To install the new software, the Apple Watch needs to have at least a 50% battery charge. Plus, it needs to be placed on a charger, and it needs to be in range of the ‌‌‌‌‌iPhone‌‌‌‌‌.
