Apple releases firmware update for AirPods Pro

Apple has released a firmware update (revision 2B588) for the AirPods Pro, but there’s no release notes about what the upgrade does.

You can’t force an install, but he firmware update should install automatically when connecting the ‌earbuds to an iPhone or iPad. ‌If you wish to see if it’s been installed, you can check the firmware of your ‌AirPods Pro by:

Launching the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.

Tap General.

Tap About.

Scroll down to ‌AirPods Pro‌ and select it.

You’ll see the firmware number under “Firmware Version.”
