Apple is offering small and midsize businesses up to 10% off 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, reports Bloomberg. The article says the tech giant is attempting to spur sales as Mac sales are expected to drop “substantially” in the current fiscal quarter.
Why? No big Mac announcements are expected until the first quarter of 2023. It was once expected that the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros would be updated with M2 Pro and M2 Max processors, along with an upgraded Mac mini, in time for the holiday season.
Now those upgrades aren’t expected until March 2023 or later. An upgraded 24-inch iMac and perhaps a new iMac Pro could arrive in that time frame. However, the long-rumored Mac Pro release is nowhere in sight.
