° From MacRumors: Some online user reports suggest the microphone on some new Apple Watch Series 8 and Ultra models can become persistently unresponsive after an unspecified amount of time, causing apps that rely on the mic to throw up errors and stop working.

° From TechCrunch: Apple has started manufacturing the iPhone 14 in India.

° From AppleInsider: Apple opened a new Apple Store in South Korea on Saturday, with the Apple Jamsil outlet being the fourth location in the country for the tech giant.

° From Cult of Mac: A YouTuber has put the Apple Watch Ultra through an intense test to determine its durability. The wearable was dropped multiple times, repeatedly hit with a hammer, and even put in a jar of nails.

° From Reuters: India is pushing tech giants to make smartphones compatible with its home-grown navigation system within months, worrying the likes of Samsung, Xiaomi and Apple who fear elevated costs and disruptions as the move requires hardware changes.
