Universum, which focuses on employer branding, has updated its annual list of the most attractive employers for students, based on survey data from almost 50,000 respondents at 317 universities in the U.S. Google and Apple have dominated this list for the past three years.
The survey for the new ranking was carried out between October 2021 – April 2022. Google and Apple rank, respectively, first and second on the lists of most attractive business employers, most attractive computer science employers. When it comes to most attractive engineering employers, Apple ranks sixth and Google seventh.
When it comes to most attractive natural science employers, Google ranks ninth and Apple 12th. When it comes to attractive humanities/liberal arts/education employers, Google ranks sixth and Apple 11th.
