Apple has hired the tech team from Silicon Valley Data Science (SVDS), a business transformation consulting startup, but didn’t buy the company, according to TechCrunch.
It’s a data science consulting company specializing in agile and business-focused solutions. Apple reportedly hired at least 18 members of the staff (roughly half to one-third of the total) including a co-founder/CTO and the other co-founder/CEO. The tech giant will likely use the new talent to further beef up its enterprise efforts.
SVDS offers data strategy, architecture advisory, and agile build services. The company was founded in 2013 and is based in Mountain View, California.
