Apple has been granted a patent (number 9,099,010) by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office for a easy-to-use, content authoring application for creating e-learning courses such as web-based education courses. 

App Camp For Girls is an amazing non-profit organization designed to provide girls who will be entering 8th or 9th grade in the Fall 2015 with fun and accessible educational programs in iOS development. Tuition for camp is US$375 for the US locations and CAD$375 for the Vancouver session. Space is limited and the deadline for submitting an application is March 17, 2015 at midnight PDT, so be sure to register now.

At App Camp For Girls, campers receive a broad introduction to the process of iOS app development, from brainstorming and designing ideas to building and pitching their apps. By building an app in one week, campers get a sense of accomplishment that can spark their enthusiasm to pursue further tech education.
