In a company-wide virtual meeting, CEO Tim Cook said the company was, despite the problems caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, in good financial shape and will continue to invest in new products and research and development in a “really significant way,” Apple employee told Bloomberg.
Apparently, he doesn’t foresee any layouts in the near future, though there’s no definite date on when retail stores will re-open. Even when they do, social distancing and temperatures checks are a strong possibility. Cook also noted that Apple has has donated more than 30 million masks and shipped about 2 million of its face shields to medical workers and first responders
