Apple donating $1 per Apple store purchase with Apple Pay to (RED)

Apple has announced that if you use Apple Pay at an Apple store before Dec. 2, $1 per purchase will be used to help fight AIDS.

Apple says that, for 13 years, supporters of its partnership with (RED) have raised more than $220 million in funding for HIV/AIDS programs. One hundred percent or the money generated goes to fund HIV/AIDS programs on the ground in sub-Saharan Africa.

Purchases must be made with Apple Pay and must be conducted at Apple.com, through the Apple Store app, or at a physical Apple Store worldwide. Donations will be collected up through December 2, and the donation is capped at a total of $1 million.
