Apple is suffering from a major leak that has allowed 9to5Mac to discover images of the upcoming “iPhone XS” models and the Apple Watch Series 4, giving us an idea of what to expect when the new devices are announced on Sept. 12.

George Garofano, 26, was accused of illegally hacking the private Apple iCloud accounts of 240 people, including Hollywood stars as well as average Internet users, allowing their nude photos and private information to be spread around the Internet in a scandal that dates back to 2014.

Variety reports that Jane Krakowski will star in Apple’s upcoming TV series “Dickinson,” which follows the life of poet Emily Dickinson. Krakowski joins Hailee Steinfeld, who plays the title character.

Along the same line, Deadline notes that Six alum Eric Ladin, Camping‘s Arturo Del Puerto, and former Devious Maids star Rebecca Wisocky are set for recurring roles in Apple’s upcoming space drama series from Battlestar Galactica‘s and Outlander‘s Ronald D. Moore.

Apple reps attended this week’s Touch Taiwan display industry convention and held private meetings with Taiwanese display makers AU Optronics and Epistar, according to the Economic Daily News. 

Macs are rarely the target of digital espionage. But in recent years, a mysterious hacker crew called WindShift has targeted specific individuals working in government departments and critical infrastructure across the Middle East. And they’re exploiting weaknesses believed to affect all Apple Mac models.

Researchers have observed an attack against a cryptocurrency exchange in which a Trojan spread across both Windows and MacOS machines to steal information and possibly digital coins.

A study of user data pulled from popular health app Cardiogram yields unique insight into usage the patterns of Apple Watch and other wearable products, suggesting devices with advanced biometric monitoring capabilities are seeing increased use in the management of chronic conditions.
