Apple Daily Report: Apple releases a (PRODUCT)RED version of the Apple Watch Sport Loop (and more news)

Since Steve and I can’t cover everything, at the end of each week day, we’ll offer this wrap-up of news items you should check out.

Apple has released a (PRODUCT)RED color version of the Apple Watch Sport Loop. It costs $49 and is available in 40mm and 44mm sizes. A portion of the proceeds goes to the Global Fund’s efforts to combat HIV/AIDS.

UnitedHealthcare members whose employers opt in to the “Motion” program can now access an Apple Watch Series 3 for the cost of tax and shipping, reports CNBC. They essentially “walk off” the cost of the device over a six-month period.

OWC has announced “comprehensive compatibility” of its OWC USB-C Travel Dock and the 2018 iPad Pros. The Travel Dock has been tested and confirmed to work with both the 11- and 12.9-inch 2018 iPad Pro models and is available to purchase now.

MacGamer HQ has released its Top 20 games for MacBook guide. It includes, as you might guess, 20 games, all benchmarked on at least two different MacBooks, graphs with even more tests, and more.

Apple has launched its holiday gift guide. Shockingly, the company was you to put all its products on your shopping list!

Per Reuters: Dialog Semiconductor says it’s not seeing a hit to demand from its main customer, Apple , even though some other suppliers have issued profit warnings due to (alleged) weakness in iPhone sales. Dialog’s power management products are installed in the smartphone and other products from the Cupertino, California-based company.

Deadline reports Adrian Hough (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Joelle Carter (Chicago Justice), Jibrail Nantambu (Halloween and Deric McCabe (A Wrinkle In Time)are set as series regulars opposite Jim Sturgess and Brooklynn Prince in Apple’s upcoming untitled Hilde Lysiak series, directed and executive produced by Crazy Rich Asians helmer Jon M. Chu.
