The Australia parliament has passed a set of new cybersecurity measures that compels technology companies to furnish law enforcement agencies access to encrypted customer messages, a law opposed by Apple and other tech firms, notes AppleInsider.

According to PCMag, T-Mobile is preparing an eSIM app, which looks like it lets you connect a new prepaid T-Mobile line without going into a store or having a physical SIM card shipped to you. The app would allow you to sign up on your new iPhone with just a few clicks.

Chinese mobile app companies pose the same national security risk to the US as telecom giants like Huawei and ZTE, Sen. Mark Warner told BuzzFeed News.
