Apple is pulling out all the stops when it comes to its advertising campaign for its new Apple Music service and Beats 1 radio station. Not only is the company debuting the streaming service with an exclusive track from pop star Pharrell Williams, the company also is taking out a large advertisement in the center of Times Square as tweeted by Zane Low and reported by 9to5Mac. The billboard promotes the worldwide availability and always-on broadcast of the new online music channel. Notably missing from the advertisement is the Apple logo, which Apple has decided not to include in this part of the campaign.
The new Apple Music service with the Beats 1 channel will debut on June 30th. Apple Music will cost $9.99 per month for an individual plan with a family option for up to six subscribers for $14.99.
