Apple announces March 25 event: TV/Movie and Magazine subscription services expected

The Apple event at which the company is expected to announce its long-awaited TV and movie subscription service, as well as a subscription version of the Apple News service, has been announced for March 25, 2019 at the Steve Jobs Theater on the Apple Park Campus in Cupertino, California.

The event begins at 10 AM PDT, and we’ll be here to bring you all of the news. The invitation to the event, which (of course) we didn’t receive, included this old movie countdown reel (as tweeted by Matthew Panzarino of TechCrunch).



Could Apple make any other announcements at the event? Absolutely. For example, perhaps the new Mac Pro or a redesigned iMac will debut. I’d be willing to bet that they’d show off a new Mac Pro as a high-end editing workstation for filmmakers…
