Apple adding audio fingerprinting for Apple Music subscribers

Apple is rolling out iTunes Match audio fingerprints to address an Apple Music bug that could cause pre-existing music libraries to be improperly matched with Apple Music songs, reports The Loop

If you had songs that were matched incorrectly using the metadata version of iTunes Match, the new version will rematch to the correct song, the article adds. But it won’t delete any downloaded copies of songs you have in your library.
