Analyst: Mac laptops will see 13%-16% year-over-year growth

In a note to clients — as noted by StreetInsider — KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says he’s positive on the outlook for Mac laptop shipments. In fact, he says they should see the best year-over-year growth (13%-16%) among Apple’s main product lines in 2018.

Chi expects iPhone shipments to grow just 4-6% and iPad shipments 7-10%. What’s more, the analyst thinks shipments of Mac laptops that sport a Touch Bar will be up “significantly.”
