AirBeamTV launches wireless Mac screen mirroring to Samsung TVs

AirBeamTV has became up Mirror for Samsung TV for Mac OS X. It allows you to wirelessly mirror the screen of a Mac directly on any Samsung Smart TV without the need for any additional hardware.

You can even choose whether you’d like the audio from their Mac to be transferred to the TV, as well. The feature could come in handy for watching movies on a big TV screen instead of a MacBook, MacBook Air, or MacBook Pro, says Demid Borodin, co-founder and director of technology, AirBeamTV.

The company is currently working on support for additional TV brands. However, a time table for support for Sony, Philips, Panasonic and LG Smart TVs hasn’t been announced.

Mirror for Samsung TV requires Mac OS X Yosemite or El Capitan. It costs $9.99 and is available at the Mac App Store) in the Video category. A two-minute trial version is available at the product website.
