Actor Jesse Plemons is set to star in the Apple TV+’s upcoming movie,”Killers of the Flower Moon,” joining a cast that includes Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
The film is based on David Grann’s book of the same name and has a script by Eric Roth. Set in 1920s Oklahoma when the Osage Nation discovered oil under their land, the Native Americans found themselves being murdered one by one. As the death toll rose, the newly created FBI took up the case and unraveled a chilling conspiracy and one of the most monstrous crimes in American history.
Plemons will play Tom White, the lead FBI agent investigating the murders. DiCaprio will play Ernest Burkhart, who is the nephew of a powerful rancher (DeNiro). Plemons, who has been acting since the age of three, gained notices for his work in TV’s acclaimed cult drama, “Friday Night Lights,” and later as a villain in “Breaking Bad.”
