macOS Big Sur may be technically available for installing today, but I hope you’re having better than me at obtaining. It’s been glitch after glitch for hours now.
When I first tried to update, I was told it would take two days! An hour later it said there was five hours remaining. An hour later it told me that 12.8GB of 12.8GB was downloading and the download looked almost complete. Then….the installation just quit.
Repeated attempts to install Big Sur have failed, even after rebooting my Mac. I get this message: “Installation failed: An error occurred while installing the selected updates.”
Guess I’ll try again later. And, again, I hope you’re having better luck.
