15-inch MacBook Pro deliveries slip to June 5 (or later)

As noted by MacRumors, Apple has updated its online store to indicate that 15-inch MacBook Pro orders are now estimated for free delivery between June 5-8 in the U.S. This makes sense, as new laptops are predicted to be unveiled at next week’s Apple Worldwide Developer Conference.

There are also rumors that the MacBook Air will be updated, though the Sellers Research Firm (that’s me) is dubious. Apple’ 13-inch MacBook Pro models remain in stock for delivery as early as “next day” in the U.S. and several other countries.

The 28th annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will be held at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California. The conference will run June 5-9 and will focus on the latest versions of macOS, iOS, watchOS, and tvOS.
